I thought I had all the remixes of "Live for Loving You" but there's a "South of the Border" mix available on 1 source (I don't have) - a US 12" single. I have a mix on CD single called "Pablo Flores Mix". Both are mixed by Pablo Flores & Javier Garza and clock in at 7:10 / 7:11, which could suggest they're the same. (I've heard they're not). The "South of the Border" mix is not on YouTube. Does anyone have this mix and can confirm whether they're the same mix?

Apparently it also was part of the aussie CD Single:

Edit:
I just compared both.
They clearly come from different masters, or one of them got brickwalled and the other wasn't (see screencaps below) (Pablo Flores 12" comes from the UK CDS, South Of The Border Mix comes from the Australian CDS). I also have a rip of the US 12" and it features the "South..." one, same that the one on the aussie CDS.
Now, there's a tiny difference between the Pablo Flores 12" Mix and the South Of The Border Mix (just that one, I couldn't notice any other - other than the obvious brickwalling in one of the tracks):

+4 seconds at the beginning of the "South Of The Border Mix", a cappella (even cut at first).

See:

Not sure if it's allowed to share audio snippets here, so I'll post them on youtube for you to ear what I'm talking about.

Let's see if this works...

Pablo Flores 12" Intro (YouTube Link)

South Of The Border Mix Intro (YouTube Link):

I hope this helped. In my ears both are the same mix, with the SOTB Mix having an additional +4 seconds of an a cappella intro.

It's mindblowing how many remixes there are of all her songs.

Just chiming in to say I agree these two are the same mix, just the ‘Pablo Flores 12”’ has the a capella cut. You can hear the carry over from the intro under the first couple of beats.

Great track! Always a fan of the Tommy Musto mixes as well.

Cristian, thanks for posting that. Yes, that seems to be the only difference. And since I first posed this question here, I asked on a Estefan fan site, and they gave the same answer as you. How strange to think someone decided to cut those 4 seconds out. I'm surprised it's on CD single (the south of the border mix). I only saw it on a vinyl 12". Guess I missed it why trying to sort through Discogs. Thanks again!

And John, yes, it's amazing how many remixes there are of Estefan/MSM songs. On the same fan site I mentioned above, someone mentioned that "You'll Be Mine (Party Time)" had something like 30 or more remixes. (I saw the list - I just can't recall the #. But it was ridiculously way too much!)

You're most welcome!
You know, it's quite common for Australian CD singles to be the sole releases in the world featuring what (for the rest of the world) are "vinyl-only" remixes.
A few examples of that (retail, no promo ones, which exist but I'm not listing promos):

Celine Dion - (If There Was) Any Other Way (Instrumental):

Celine Dion - Love Can Move Mountains (Wake & Jones Dub) & (Underground Dub):

Celine Dion - Misled (Hub Dub):

Celine Dion - Next Plane Out (Radio Edit):

Celine Dion - I Drove All Night (Hex Hector Extended Vocal Import Mix):

(in this case, there's a second release, Canadian CDS, that features it too).

Mariah Carey - Anytime You Need A Friend (C&C Extended Mix):
https://www.discogs.com/release/4396582-Mariah-Carey-Anytime-You-Need-A-Friend

Mariah Carey - Joy To The World (Remixes):
Sole remixes release on CD until the MC30 campaign, 25 years later:

Mariah Carey - Honey (Morales Dub):

Mariah Carey - Boy (I Need You) (Remix By The Duke & MVP From Disco Montego):
("Australasia" release)

Etc etc etc.

Back to MSM/Gloria, I've no idea what they're waiting for to start releasing extended editions, especially considering they're currently celebrating the 50th anniversary of MSM.
