Does anyone out there have an actual dub of the 45 of "Fool For The City"?
The 'Best Of' edit is not the 45; the last time I heard the real single version was when it just missed the top-40. My brain seems to recall that there was a tricky edit that might need the multitracks (or at least a crossfade) to perform - but I only heard it on AM radio so I could be mistaken. Thank you all! This is interesting. The listed time on the 45 is (3:10) plus the 45 uses the word Edit in front of the song title. Never seen that before.http://www.45cat.com/imageview/11E65FE573F949B5206

Nice discovery, Andy! I definitely would be interested in
attempting to recreate the true 45 edit. I've had the 'Best Of' version in my master library for years. |
