   Not a top 40 hit by an means, but a 1990 low rung chart hit. 

A few observations

1) Discogs only lists a cassette single, which runs approximately 3:48.

2) The only version to make it to CD anywhere is a 5:18 which is an extended party mix. Its available on some comps here and there.

3) It's a freestyle hit. It was not part of the series of cd's released which covered a lot of the domestic freestyle hits of the era known as Freestyle Greatest Beats.

4) The 12 inch contains the single version, the only place it seems available commercially.

So considering 1990 was the true beginning of the CD promo age, anyone have the promo for the song or know where I could find it on CD?

	So Aaron kindly solved the mystery of where this song is available. https://www.beatport.com/track/theres-a-party-going-on-radio -edit/211643 We also concluded that the longer mixes could not be made into the single version. For anyone else interested, it is also on Itunes. That means that every hot 100 hit in 1990 is available somewhere in a lossless format. Edited by PopArchivist
