My commercial 45 has "WBS-49184 XCA-8982-S LW2" etched in the runout groove. There are definitely two pressings!

I heard an extended version of "Ride Like The Wind" the other evening on one of SiriusXM's channels at the gym. (Shut up; they have a great cafe' downstairs.) It sounded like it was remixed and expanded from the original tracks as opposed to just throwing a beat over the original recording.

Looking at Discogs, I see no evidence of a 12" ever being released; does anybody know where this mix might have originated? Was this commercially released, or is this something SiriusXM had whipped up?

I don't see my 80s station playing it since it wasn't "original" to the era (I believe), but it was quite well done and faithful to the spirit of the original recording. I'm mainly just curious where it came from.

EDIT I may have just answered my own question:

Remixed With Love By Joey Negro (Vol. Two)

YouTube audio

I was hearing it on a ceiling speaker so it's hard to be 100% confident, but this sounds similar to what I heard. The album says "reworked from original multitrack tapes" so that would explain what I heard. Release date 2016. Over my home system it sounds more "reworked" than what I remember hearing, but again keep in mind I was hearing satellite radio over an 8" full-range speaker. :-) Some of the YouTube comments even mention hearing it on Studio 54, so there we go. Mystery solved!
