Does anyone remember "If It Ain't One Thing, It's Another" by Richard "Dimples" Fields. It wasnt a top 40 song but was played in the early eighties, most likely on the R&B stations in NY (Kiss, WBLS).

Does anyone know if it exists on CD?

Well, it almost made the Top 40 in Cash Box -- #41.

According to www.allmusic.com, it's available on the following CDs:

Mr. Look So Good
Lowrider Oldies, Vol. 7
Lowrider Oldies Chrome, Vol. 7

All Music is a great resource for finding songs on CD. They even list the running time of many songs, so I've found several 45 versions utilizing their search engine.

The correct web address is actually www.allmusic.com. Try that, Fetta.
