Would like to gather some information on the current song "Shawty Is a 10" by The-Dream. This song appears on the Love/Hate cd where it is titled "Shawty Is Da Sh*!" and on the cd jacket it is credited to The-Dream featuring Fabolous. The Billboard chart does not give credit to Fabolous and the title has been changed to "Shawty Is A 10". Billboard also indicates this is available as a digital download so to try to see if the cd version really is the 45 version, I went to Itunes to download "Shawty Is A 10" only to find that it is avaiable on Itunes only as a video. Does anyone have further information they can pass along to clarify whether the cd version is the 45 version?

Pat,
This may not help, but hope it does. I only have this song on 2 separate JonesTM discs. The first is HP200726. It is labeled as by Dream and called "Shawty Is Da Shid". Listed 3:44, actual is 3:49 The second is on GoldDisc #867. This time, labeled as by Dream and called "Shawty Is A 10" [Radio Edit]. Listed is 3:45, actual is 3:49. From all I can gather, they are both the same song, edited and have no Fabolous on the track. The first time I had seen the band actually listed as The-Dream was at Radio & Records online. That said, Jones TM on their 'A' Hitdiscs, which I don't have, have the track listed as by Dream Feat Fabolous and called "Shawty Is A 10" (Remix). Listed time is 4:01, but I'd imagine the track runs longer. Edited by eriejwg |

Pat, we have the commercial 12" vinyl for this one. Basically it's just a dirty/clean version issue. The three cuts are 1. Main (this is the dirty version) 2. Clean 3. Instrumental. I'm sure radio is playing the clean version and the title was adjusted from "Shawty Is Da Sh*! (10)" to "Shawty Is A 10" (run time for both 3:49)...also no Fabolous heard anywhere on the 12".
