All stereo CD appearances in the database for Roger Miller's "Walkin' on the Sunshine" contain the comment: (all selections on this CD are rerecorded), except on the All Time Greatest Hits disc (Mercury B0000233).  Just wanted to verify that the stereo version on the latter CD is indeed the original "hit" version, and not the commonly available stereo rerecording.

	Todd, per your query, I just pulled out and timed my commercial 45. It has a listed time of (2:29) and an actual time of (2:28). So, it appears that the Mercury stereo CD version in the database, at (2:32), runs :04 longer, while the two mono Mercury CDs in the database, at (2:36 & 2:37), run :08 and :09 seconds longer, respectively, than the 1967 Mercury 45 does. So, some early fading of these CD versions will likely be necessary, for you to exactly re-create what is found on the 45, which I know is what you're looking to do here. Over the next few days, inbetween sips of holiday eggnog with my family, friends and my lovely lady, I'll shoot you out an mp3 dub of this 45, just to make sure that they aren't trying to sneak a "brief edit" past you instead, my friend! 	Thanks to some help from Jim, who shot out to me a mono CD dub of "Walkin' on Sunshine", I've compared it to the stereo version on Roger Miller's All Time Greatest Hits CD and can now confirm the latter disc does contain the correct "hit" version and not the stereo re-recording appearing on other CDs. Jim also generously provided me with a commercial vinyl 45 dub of "Walkin' on Sunshine". It not only runs noticeably faster than its CD counterparts, but is also an early fade of the 2:32-2:37 CD run time lengths.
