I thought this was discussed before but I can't find the
post. What is the main difference between the LP Version of Mariah Carey's "Honey" vs. the "Smooth Version" of the song? I'm not good at determining details but to me it seems like the P Diddy ad libs have been removed in the Smooth Version. Also, is the Smooth Version the main version that was played on the radio? |

Another forum member (PopArchivist) claimed that he could not pull up the original Mariah Carey "Honey" thread, either. What's strange is, when I type "Mariah Carey Honey" in the search engine box and select the Topic Subject option, that original thread doesn't come up, but this one does. Yet when I simply type "Mariah Carey" in the search engine box, both "Honey" threads come up. I have no idea why this is, but hopefully, these types of "glitches" will be history once we switch over to the newly updated website.

When I searched for this song all I did was type one word in the search field (honey) and changed the default on the right from "Message Body" to "Topic Subject."
The "less is more" method always yields the best results. This has always worked well for me. I don't think the search function has changed over the years. As the old television commercial used to say "try it, you'll like it." |
