The actual commercial 45 run time of Ringo Starr's "Photograph" is 3:58. (Timing info compliments of Jim. The printed record label time is 3:59.) The reason I post this is because database CDs containing this song run 3:53-3:58.

does anyone have the original LP to time it? Wondering if that LP faded
earlier than the 45, or if, as is so (horribly) common, it has been faded earlier in the CD era! |

Just did some checking on my "Ringo" LP and my "Photograph" 45. The LP version of Photograph fades earlier than the 45. I timed the LP at 3:56. My 45 actually faded completely at 4:01. So, apparently the LP is an early fade compared to the 45.

Wonder if there were multiple pressings as Jim's timing is
always right on. |
