I picked up a promo copy of Build Me Up Buttercup and it runs a little faster than the mono CD issues. The label time is 2:56. Does this match the stock? Are all CD issues slightly slow? Could it have been sped up slightly in America and we've been getting the import speed?
I got a DJ copy of Walking in the Rain by Jay and the Americans. The mono side seems to run a little slower than the stereo side. Is it worth noting? Edited by Bill Cahill |

Bill, both my promo and commercial 45 copies of "Build Me Up Buttercup" have a listed time of (2:56) and an actual time of (2:55). There are a good amount of CDs that feature the "mono, double-tracked 45 version" in the database, and they run between (2:55) and (2:58). So it appears that there are some mono version CDs in the database that are up to :03 longer. I cannot say, however, if it is a speed or a length issue. The moral of the story here, I guess, is to opt for the (2:55) mono 45 versions!
