We're not far from the holidays!

Trying to track down these CD's if they actually exist.

1. "Oh Santa" by Mariah Carey - I'm convinced their is an "AC Edit" of this big hit from last Christmas that omitted the opening rap & looped into Mariah's vocal.

2. "White Christmas" by Lara Fabian (2001?) - I believe this version was performed live on PBS. I hear it every year on WLTW

3. "Baby, It's Cold Outside" by Vanessa Williams (1996?) - A 4 minute edit exists somewhere compared to the 5:50 version on the "Star Bright" LP

The "Oh Santa" AC edit was made at the request of AC radio stations that were interested in playing the track but wanted a different intro. I don't believe we ever got a physical copy, just a high quality download.

I don't know about the others on the list but there are edits made by radio groups. For example, I think Amy Grant's "Angels We Have Heard On High" starts with a long instrumental section that most stations cut off and go straight to her vocal.

Thanks Bill -- Are you able to forward me a copy for reference?

Come to find out Lara Fabian's "White Christmas" was included on a 4-track Promo CD "Songs From Lara Fabian - From Lara With Love" in 2000. Cut 1 included her Top 40 hit "I Will Love Again". I've yet to find a copy anywhere.

I'm still searching for Vanessa Williams.
