yes, it didn't make the billboard top 40, but the question
i have is there seams to be two running lengths.....i have one from the madonna album from 1982 which runs 3:45 and another from the japanese box set which runs 3:51...is the japanese box set a remix as it clearly sounds different than the 'madonna' cd/lp version |

The Japanese box has the original mix. It was released
as a 12-inch single before her first album came out. The Japan box has an edit of the 12-inch mix, so that's actually the original mix. It was remixed for her first album, so technically, the album version is the remix. |

was the 3:51 version an edit of a longer version from the 12" single or was it released in that configuration? can someone list the printed and actual times of the versions on the 12" release.... Edited by edtop40 |

Yes, it's an edit of the longer 12" version, which runs over six minutes, I believe. The dance edit that's on the Japan box was not released in the US at all. Edited by Brian W. |
