Just out of curiosity, any chance the 45 of this can be extracted from the LP (I don't think I've ever heard the 45 version--even when it was a top-40 hit in 1978)?

Yes, the 45 is an edit of the LP version. I'll send you a copy of my 45 recreation.

yup...6:40 is long for a single...........most amazing thing about this tune is the fade out.........it's about :45 long...........and really fades out so you can barely hear it at the end........

the 45 of josie runs 4:30 and is identical to the cd/lp version.........it is not an edit or early fade.........edtop40
