Does anyone know if a shorter radio edit of Harry Chapin's "Sequel" was ever issued on a promo 45 to radio stations? I would imagine the standard 6:36 length would have been considered a bit long for regular airplay in 1980. Of course, there's always the possibility that station program/music directors were left to create their own in-house edits.

I know that my local station always played the full length version, USUALLY preceded by the full version of "Taxi". I remember because one of the local DJ's referred to Harry as "the constipated DJ's best friend". ^_^

I have a radio station copy from the station I was working for at the time, and that copy has a label time of 6:36 on both sides. That doesn't mean that an edit doesn't exist, but I've never come across one or heard one.
