The Cranberries "Dreams" just missed the top 40 on the Hot 100, peaking at #42. It was a fairly big airplay hit, though, making it to #19 on the Radio & Records CHR chart, and it still receives regular radio spins today.

I have a 1-track promo CD for it:

PRCD 6757-2
1. non-described version (listed 4:15; actual 4:14)

This is the only version we ever played on the air, which is an early fade of the full 4:32 version.

I have this song, running 4:14, on the 20th Century
Best Of
. Seems almost like a vocal decay at 4:14
although there is a slight fade.

Does this match your 4:14 version, Aaron?

The radio edit of "Dreams" I have runs 4:08. It starts at the drum hit (omitting the hi-hat intro) and fades out on the chants. Some stations fade it out even quicker, to around 4:02 in length, which Wikipedia says in the "US radio edit".

We were one of those stations, fading it before all the
yodeling at the end, I think ours ran around 3:50 or so.
