The actual commercial 45 run time of Glass Bottle's "I Ain't Got Time Anymore" is 2:26. (Timing info once again is brought to us by Jim. The printed record label time is 2:27.) I'm passing this along because database CD run times range from 2:16 to 2:25.

Is this 45 mono? There is a mono version in the database but it runs 10 seconds short.

I recall having the parent LP for this but it is long gone. I am almost sure
it was mono or "e" on the LP. It may have been a promo. The first time I
heard it in stereo was when I bought "Super Hits of the '70s: Have A
Nice Day, Vol. 4" in 1990. Does anyone have the Glass Bottle LP and
can provide the stereo status?

David, I don't have the Glass Bottle LP in question, but my US Avco Embassy DJ 45 has "I Ain't Got Time Anymore" in mono on both sides. By contrast, my promo copy of the follow-up 45, "The Girl Who Loved Me When" (which is also on the I Ain't Got Time Anymore LP) is mono/stereo.

I picked up a "stereo/mono" various artists compilation album in the cutouts around 1974, called Chartstoppers: 20 Original Stars 20 Original Hits Vol. 1 on the Salem label and "I Ain't Got Time Anymore" is in mono on it.

I own copies of both Glass Bottle LP's. In fact, I
didn't even know there was an LP with I Ain't Got Time
Anymore on it until Gary Criss told me about it. I
bought it but never played it and now it's in
storage....
Live in stereo.

I have just located the promo copy of my Glass Bottle Avco 33024 LP,
which is stated as being stereo on both sides of the LP cover and on both
sides of the LP's label. And while Cut 1, Side 1 (which happened to be the
follow-up single, "The Girl Who Loved Me When") is in nice stereo, Cut 1,
Side 2, which is "I Ain't Got Time Anymore" is definitely in mono. Listed
and actual run time is (2:27).

As an aside, the LP was produced by Dickie Goodman and his frequent
"partner in crime" during this era, Bill Ramal. I believe it was the only Top
40 hit Goodman ever produced, other than his own break-in records,
which were not exactly what I'd call sonic masterpieces.

I now feel even luckier that a stereo version turned up on that "Have A
Nice Day" CD. (Maybe they'll like me better on the BSN forum now!   :)   )

And it's Mr.Goodman's only hit "serious", or non comic
record,too..
You know you're really older when you think that younger singer Jesse McCartney's related in anyway to former Beatle Paul McCartney.
