Varèse Vintage Records, specialists in catalog reissues, proudly
announces the following upcoming releases for 2008:

February 12th, 2008

The Highwaymen “Water Of Life: A Celtic Collection” (CD)
The songs on this album range from traditional Irish and Irish-American
folk songs, to some newly written songs by Tommy Sands (“Down by the
Lagan Side”), and Andy Stewart (“Ramblin’ Rover”), to Scottish Ballads
(“Nancy Whiskey” and “The Great Silkie”). Also included are new versions
of “The Gypsy Rover,” “Whiskey in the Jar” and “Paddy Works on the
Railway,” as well as an updated version of “Work of the Weavers,” which
includes an homage to that group.

Bing Crosby “When Irish Eyes Are Smiling” (CD)
A collection of favorite Irish songs from Bing Crosby’s popular radio
show. This first time collection includes many tracks not available on any
other Crosby release.

March 11th, 2008

Argent “Greatest: The Singles Collection” (CD)
The first new Argent hits collection since 1976. This release features 18
tracks, including many single mixes not available on CD before.

Reissue of his original 1963 album, with six bonus tracks, including two
that are previously unreleased.

The Ventures “Play Their Greatest Hits” (CD)
Features all the big hits, including “Walk-Don’t Run,” “The Cruel Sea”
“Secret Agent Man,” “Hawaii Five-0,” and more. All tracks were recorded
during 1999 and 2000.

John Phillips “Space (Man On The Moon)” (CD)
Highlights from the off-Broadway musical “Man On The Moon,” produced
by Andy Warhol. Most of the tracks have never been issued.
