My commercial 45, which is stereo, has a listed time of (2:48), but an actual time of (2:45).

My mono/stereo promotional 45 confirmed as Epic 5-10902 has a listed time of (2:48) on both sides and both sides have an actual time of (2:45). I'm not really good at telling whether or not something is a dedicated mono mix or not, but to my ears during the A/B of both versions, the vocals were louder in the mono mix than they were in the stereo mix folded to mono, except for the point from about 1:16 to 1:31 when they seemed to be a bit louder from the mono fold down of the stereo mix. The mono mix ran very slightly faster and had a very minimal extra bit at the end of the fade out, which I had to boost the volume greatly to even notice over the record noise.

I've listened to the mono DJ side a few times but haven't heard any real difference. The stereo version was always a bit odd as the vocal isn't exactly centered like most songs of the period. But it's not panned all the way to the side either. It's just a bit off center.
