The difference between the 45 and LP versions of The Moments' 'Love on a Two Way Street' is more than just length. The 45 also has an additional guitar overdub.

OK I give up where do you hear the extra guitar overdub on the 45?

I may have assumed a little too much, Pat. I should have clarified that I was basing my conclusion on the fact that the guitar is present on Rhino's Soul Hits Of The '70s Vol.2, which is the 45 length, but not on Rhino's Billboard Hot Soul Hits 1970, which is the LP length. But I just listened to the song on Time-Life's Sounds Of The Seventies - 1970, which is also the LP length, and it DOES have the guitar. So perhaps it is only a matter of the guitar being missing on Billboard Hot Soul Hits 1970.

I was very pleasantly surprised to find this website the other day, Pat. I have been using your information for years. As I look to my bookcase to my right, I see that I have the 6th, 8th, and 10th editions of your book. I was surfing the other day trying to find information on a possible 11th edition when I stumbled onto this site, which I had no idea existed. I had a list of over a hundred additions/corrections to the 10th edition, but I see that about 85% of them have already been added/made to the database.

I finally got this situation straightened out. The 45 and LP are identical except in length. Several cd's are missing the guitar overdub and after reviewing all of cd's in the database, for those of you that are subscribers, I have entered which cd's are missing the overdub.

I find that some versions of this track sound much better than others....my
favorite is the one from the Rhino Best Of, even though it fades somewhere
between the LP length and 45 fade!

The guitar may be there on all cd's but mixed very very low Ed. Listen for the first appearance at :13 to :14 and many locations throughout the song.

The mono 45 of this tune is definitive. The vocals are buried and the guitar solos in Stereo.
I turn up the good and turn down the bad!
