What did you find about this? Can you compare your version to the music video to see if you have that version? I wonder if there's a CD single or promo CD single that has the effect you're talking about? |

To my knowledge, the only official mix with the "scratch" in the intro is the Daniel Abraham 7" Remix, which was used in the video and was the lead track on commercial singles worldwide.

Thanks Eric. So it sounds like there were just 2 official versions - the LP
version and the Daniel Abraham 7" remix. Well, I'm sure there were 12" mixes, too, but I mean besides those. |

As far as radio-length single versions go, there was also a 'Tommy Musto 7" Edit' that was released on a separate promo (ESK 4875) with a listed time of 4:10. This version was Track 2 on the U.S. commercial CD maxi. It is very in line
with other dance-y Tommy Musto radio mixes of the day, such as his work on Michael Jackson's "In the Closet" and Jon Secada's "Just Another Day", etc. I think this was stated upstream in the thread as well, but I don't think the LP Version edit that was used on Celine's All the Way collection existed in 1992. I suppose it could have been obscurely released in another country, but all the international singles I managed to review at Discogs appear to feature the Abraham mix as the lead. |
