There are 7 CDs as "remixed" designation (time 5:12-5:20) on the database. I have their original Italian "Dreamland" CD. "Everybody Everybody" on the original Italian LP version runs (5:20). I feel these (5:20) tracks are "Italian Original LP version."
Both the actual running times of another their 2 Top 40 songs "I Don't Know Anybody Else" and "Strike It Up" are the same as the U.S. "Dreamland" CD. --abagon |

The only version released in the U.S. at the time in 1990
was the 'Le Freak Mix 7" Edit', which ran a little over 4 minutes on the U.S. version of Dreamland. That was the version that got all the airplay here. I'd never even heard the 5:20 un-remixed version until it turned up on a 2-CD set from Time-Life from 1999 called Ultra Mix. It's still essentially unknown here in the U.S. You'd be correct to label it as "Italian original LP version". |
