They didn't fade the tape either, <br />it just runs to the end of wav, you can hear it if you <br />crank it up.<br />The CD is also from 1989 and pre-dates noise reduction as <br />we know it. <br />There was Sonic Solutions and CEDAR, but at that time they <br />were very expensive, from what I was told. <br />MM ]]>

I think I hear a little surface noise and turntable rumble on the fade, but I need a second opinion.  I think I hear evidence of noise reduction on Priority's <em>Mega-Hits Dance Classics Vol. 6</em> (1989), which shows some "pumping" on the fade - also taken from vinyl?<br /><br />(2) Should the LP/45 designations be "LP length" and "45 length"?  I don't hear any difference between the LP version on Hip-O's 2-CD <em>Best Disco In Town Vol. 2</em> (3:58) and the 45 versions on the many Rhino discs (3:30), except for length.<span style="font-size:10px"><br /><br />Edited by crapfromthepast</span>]]>
