All stereo appearances of Kentucky Rain that extend beyond 3:17 have the dropout you are inquiring about. my commercial 45 for the elvis presley song "kentucky rain"
issued as rca victor 47-9791 states the run time as 3:20
and does indeed run that length....the version on the
original cd elvis gold records volume 5 issued as rca 4941
contains the correct version...but at the 3:16 mark on the
cd there is a tape glitch in the right channel....maybe
that's why most of the db entries fade out early and only
run 3:12-3:13 or so......the vinyl 45 doesn't have this
glitch...pat do all the 3:20 running cd versions have the
