No such problem on the stereo mix.<br /><br />The stereo mix really bugged me the first time I heard it.  Poor little Diane was so distracted by her lifeguard fixation that she failed to notice she was drowning in the reverb chamber.  The stereo mix sounds all wet - literally and figuratively - when folded down or broadcast on AM.  The mono mix on the 45 is less wet and much punchier.<br /><br />If you can find a clean copy, go for the vinyl green-label DJ 45 over the styrene black-label stock.<span style="font-size:10px"><br /><br />Edited by Yah Shure</span>]]>

He's sure it is the 45, whereas the stereo version is <br />single-tracked.<br /><br />I have a dub if anyone wants to listen, but it looks like another 45 version <br />has been uncovered and a database update needed. I searched for anything <br />on this track, but came up empty.]]>
