if you fade-out the 3:22 'best of' cd version for 0:14 from
3:04 to 3:18 you can effectively re-create the vinyl 45

Commercial 45 copies of Roberta Flack & Donny Hathaway's "You've Got a Friend" is in mono and has an actual run time of 3:18. (Thanks once again to Jim for the info. The printed label time is 3:20.) I only post this because all database CDs containing this song run 3:22-3:23.

There's a strong possibility the CD run times may be reflective of a slightly longer LP length. So does anyone have a vinyl copy of Roberta Flack & Donny Hathaway's self-titled LP who can pass along the run time of "You've Got a Friend"?
