Let's see if I can post the times (the board was fussy and wouldn't post it - dunno why.)

Keep the 304 beats from 0:00.0 to 3:12.7 of the LP version.
Edit on a downbeat.
Remove the 112 beats from 3:12.7 to 4:23.5 of the LP version.
Keep the 96 beats from 4:23.5 to 5:24.2 of the LP version.
That 5:24.2 point is well within the fade. You'll want to hasten that
fade by manually fading out the last 8 beats.

While I don't have the actual 45 for this song, I do have Aaron's edit
to recreate the 45. Since I have faith in Aaron's work, I
reverse-engineered his edit, and provide instructions in case you want
to create your own 45 edit for this song.

I using the CD Back In The High Life as a source:

Keep 0:00.0 to 3:12.7 of the LP version.
Edit on a downbeat.
Remove 3:12.7 to 4:23.5 of the LP version.
Keep 4:23.5 to 5:24.2 of the LP version.
That 5:24.2 point is well within the fade. You'll want to hasten that fade by manually fading out the last 8 beats.
