Yes, David, the stereo LP version is just that, "LP version" and is a different recording. Seems every hit i encounter on Hi was re-recorded for the stereo versions.

I think the Stereo LP version is a re-recording. Many a Bill Black's Combo and Ace Cannon LP was in those early days. My commercial 45, confirmed as Hi 2120, has a listed time of (1:59) and an actual time of (1:58). I only post this info because, for the sticklers in the audience, the only current database CD that includes this song (which is also in mono) runs just (1:55).
