While Babyface's vocal appears to be the same take on both (at least during the first 2:53), the mix differences can readily be detected during the intro and throughout the entire recording.  That said, I agree with your decision to include the Kenny G <em>Greatest Hits</em> listing in the database with a "neither the 45 nor LP" comment as that will help lessen any confusion for subscribers.  ]]>

I have just added it to the database as a "neither 45 nor LP" version because it has created some confusion as Todd pointed out.]]>

Kenny G's saxophone is indeed edited out of the single version, which is interesting given that Joel Whitburn's <em>Billboard Book of Top 40 Hits 1955 to 2000</em> gives a credit in fine print to Kenny G on saxophone.  If I'm not mistaken, information regarding each Top 40 single listed in this publication is supposed to be based on its respective commercial single release.<span style="font-size:10px"><br /><br />Edited by Todd Ireland</span>]]>
