The post-Morrison 45s that I have ("Ships w/Sails" and "<a href="http://i257.photobucket.com/albums/hh240/YahShure/Doors-PianoBird.jpg" target="_blank">The Piano Bird</a>") use the same Doors logo that appeared on the <em>Other Voices</em> LP cover.  BTW, both of these 45s are edits.]]>

Then, after the early 1972 compilation album, "Weird Scenes Inside The Gold Mine", the others then put out a second album, "Full Circle" in the summer of '72. (The singles were "Get Up And Dance/Treetrunk", "The Mosquito/It Slipped My Mind" (which barely charted, prompting a third 45, "The Piano Bird/Good Rockin'".) And that was it. To my knowledge, none of those final five singles used the famous "group logo" that I believe had appeared on all Doors 45's that included Jim Morrison.<span style="font-size:10px"><br /><br />Edited by jimct</span>]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://top40musiconcd.com/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=156">eriejwg</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 4540<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 25&nbsp;January&nbsp;2009 at 4:48pm<br /><br />Though it only made it to #71 on the Hot 100, according to info I've seen, Tightrope Ride was kind of a favorite at the age of 12 for me as I was starting to buy 45's when it came out in 1971.<br /><br />This was the first post-Morrison 45 for the Doors IIRC.<br /><br />Noticed right away, besides being edited, the 45 is different from the LP version. Vocal on the 45 is a bit buried compared to the LP where the vocal is dryer.]]>
