I have a DJ CD single (DEFR 16105-2) but it doesn't seem to contain the version you're looking for. The only vocal version it contains is the "radio" version which I've timed at 3:55 (the CD does not give any running times) and to my ears seems to be just an early fade of the "The Definition" CD version. But it appears from your description that you're looking for a version with more significant differences. The promo CD does not credit Timbaland as a featured artist, only as the track's producer. He is definitely on the track, though, singing the chorus.

Just picked up the new cd "Crunk Hits Vol. 3", TVT 2511 and found the song Headsprung and credited to LL Cool J featuring Timbaland. This track runs (3:59) and is different from the version on the LL Cool J cd "The Definition".
