Yes, this seems to be one of those rare (for that era) cases where the 45 version was only issued on the actual 45...not included on 12" or any CD single of any sort. And it has yet to show up on any CD compilations. And there doesn't appear to be a longer version that can be edited to match the 45.

A shame because this was a pretty big hit and got a lot of radio play in my area. I have purchased several 45s over the years to perform needledrops...they sound OK, but not stellar.
