Correct, Jim. I just find it odd that a longer remix was issued as Track 1 on the promo CD single, especially when it seems few, if any, Top 40 stations played it.

The early '90s sure were a strange and confusing time for promo and commercial single releases. Todd, our station also played the "7" Version" back in 1990. However, the promo CD single we received in for the song did include your mentioned "BB Outta Here Mix", as track 1. Here are the particulars:

Babyface-"Tender Lover" (ZSK 74003)
1-BB Outta Here Mix (listed & actual 5:48)
2-7" Version (listed & actual 4:10)

Since this song came up recently in another thread, does anyone recall ever hearing the "BB Outta Here Mix" on their local Top 40 station?
