I'm getting real close to completing the second part

Ed, what is the difference between the single and album
versions of The Tymes' "People," other than stereo/mono? Because the original album is available as a download from Sony. |

brian....sorry for not getting you an answer sooner re the
tymes 'people'.....i only have a cdr of the song dubbed years ago and i do not know what cd it came from......it sounds like a newer re-recording of the song and clearly not the original version......the cdr file i have runs 3:25 in length.....does anyone have the original cd/lp version that i could compare to my vinyl 45?.....my 45 runs 3:15 in length.......i see the version available on itunes only runs 3:07.... I just compared the LP version with a 45 dub. The LP runs slower than the 45 and fades much earlier. But the real big difference is the mix. The 45 is a dedicated mix with lots more reverb. The 45 also has a extra drum overdub. It is a loud snare overdub with big reverb on it. This is missing from the LP version. MM |
