It seems to me that the original mix of the song is the 45 version and was later remixed and included on the "Jody Watley" album. The credits on the 45s state "produced by André Cymone and David Z", no remix credits. The version found on the album is credited as a remix by Louis Silas Jr. and is the same version labeled "Radio Edit" on the 12" single. CD copies of the album also featured the "Extended Club Version" from the 12" single.
