Author: aaronk
Subject: 2853
Posted: 30 November 2007 at 12:51pm

This is mainly a question for Pat, but I would be curious to know if other users would think this is helpful, too. When you click on the name of an album, all of the database songs from that album are displayed; however, the information next to the title is the song notes rather than the version. I think it would be extremely helpful if the version info would show up instead. For example, here's a typical listing:

...But Seriously (LP version)
Atlantic 82050
(This is the information displayed at the top, and the version actually gets displayed there, depending on if you click a song title that has a version designated.)

PHIL COLLINS - ANOTHER DAY IN PARADISE
1989 (S) (5:21)
PHIL COLLINS - I WISH IT WOULD RAIN DOWN
1990 (S) (5:27) (dj copies of this 45 ran (4:48) and (5:28); commercial copies were all (5:28))
PHIL COLLINS - DO YOU REMEMBER?
1990 (S) (4:35)
PHIL COLLINS - SOMETHING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO HEAVEN
1990 (S) (4:50) (dj copies of this cd single run (4:49), (4:46) the "one world mix dj edit", (5:38) the "one world mix" and (4:37) the "7" version"))
PHIL COLLINS - HANG IN LONG ENOUGH
1990 (S) (4:44)

Pat, is it possible that your programming guy can fix this?

Edited by aaronk
