Jon, I'm certain the "thank you wording" on both of our 45s is exactly the same. I didn't bother to exactly notate each word of Elvis' opening greeting, like you just did. I would like to second jimct's findings, as my RCA orange label 45 (RCA 74-0910 Stereo) also seems to run 3:07, as listed. However, my intro begins with Elvis stating "Thank you very much (faded in)...Thank you now...Thank you" followed by his lead vocals at 13 1/2 seconds. The guitar intro begins as he starts his last "Thank you" (applause over the first two). Interesting...

Brian, my original 45 is absolutely in stereo. Especially wide stereo, in fact, for a live recording. Was Elvis's "Steamroller Blues" mono or stereo on the commercial issue? I know the label SAYS stereo, but is it actually stereo?

I ask because I've got it in mono on the Reader's Digest set, "The Elvis Presley Years." It's live, starts out with about half a second of applause fading in, followed by Elvis saying, "Thank you now... thank you."
