LP and commercial 45 version (runs about 4:58)

Sounds quite nice on Greatest Hits (1994), where it runs 4:59. Not many other choices, but GH is worthwhile, inexpensive, and very common.

Promo 45 edit (runs about 3:14)

Unavailable on CD, but relatively straightforward to recreate. Four edits, no early fade required. Here are instructions, using GH as the source:

Segment 1
9 beats long
Extends from 0:00.0 to 0:04.2 of the LP version and promo 45 edit
Ends on a snare

Remove the 32 beats from 0:04.2 to 0:16.9 of the LP version, snare to snare.

Segment 2
56 beats long
Begins on a snare
Extends from 0:16.9 to 0:39.1 of the LP version
Extends from 0:04.2 to 0:26.5 of the promo 45 edit
Ends on a snare

Remove the 64 beats from 0:39.1 to 1:04.7 of the LP version, snare to snare.

Segment 3
167.5 beats long
Begins on a snare
Extends from 1:04.7 to 2:11.6 of the LP version
Extends from 0:26.5 to 1:33.4 of the promo 45 edit
Ends half a beat before a snare

Remove the 104 beats from 2:11.6 to 2:53.1 of the LP version, half a beat before the snare to half a beat before the snare.

Segment 4
110.5 beats long
Begins half a beat before a snare
Extends from 2:53.1 to 3:37.1 of the LP version
Extends from 1:33.4 to 2:17.4 of the promo 45 edit
Ends on a snare

Remove the 64 beats from 3:37.1 to 4:02.8 of the LP version, snare to snare.

Segment 5
Begins on a snare
Extends from 4:02.8 to 5:02.5 (end) of the LP version
Extends from 2:17.4 to 3:17.2 (end) of the promo 45 edit

Your mixdown will run about 3:14 (excluding outro silence), 3:17.2 (including outro silence), with edits at 0:04.2, 0:26.5, 1:33.4, and 2:17.4.
