my commercial 45 for the jan & dean song 'surf city'
issued as liberty 55580 lists the run time on the label as
2:24 but actually runs 2:30 and is identical to the
version on the cd below

(M)     (2:30)   &nb sp; Collectors' Choice Music 949 The Complete
Liberty Singles

this 45 run time info s/b added to the db.....thanks to
jim for providing the raw files for my review....

Anyone know what all the sound effects labeling is in Pat's database? Is there are 45 or LP version without sound effects, can anyone clarify? Was it not supposed to have sound effects?

I see comments about sound effects for the song “Sidewalk Surfin.’” Is
that the song you’re referring to?

The song "Drag City" had different car sound effects on the
45 and stereo LP versions, but I don't hear any sound
effects on "Surf City".

Yes, I see sound effect comments in the database for "Drag City," too.
