I'm in the process of going through all of the top 15 airplay hits from 2008, and here are the songs I do not have from a lossless source. The sources I checked are all supposed to be lossless (Promo Only, TM's Prime Cuts, downloadable wav files). I haven't yet checked the full length albums, but of course they won't contain the radio versions of the songs. I'll continue to update this list as I go:

T.I. "Whatever You Like" (Radio Edit)
Jason Mraz "I'm Yours" (Radio Edit)
Kevin Rudolf f/Lil' Wayne "Let It Rock" (Radio Edit)
Kardinal Offishall f/Akon "Dangerous" (Radio Edit)
Pussycat Dolls "When I Grow Up" (Main)
Colby O'Donnis "What You Got" (non-described version, probably same as full-length album)
Ray J. "Sexy Can I" (Super Clean - No Booty)
Taylor Swift "Our Song" (Pop Mix)
Sara Bareilles "Love Song" (Radio Edit)

I have the "Amended" version of "Whatever You Like," Aaron, which was one of the two stand-alone singles. I got it from MusicGiants. Not sure if it's the same as the Radio Edit, but it looks lossless to me, even if the frequency cutoff is a little lower than usual:

I think the Radio Edit was only about 3:40, but my copy definitely
doesn't look like that on the spectral view. It looks like mp3.

Maybe you can edit it into the Radio Edit??

I'd like to give it a try, if you can supply the source :)

Aaron mentions that Jason Mraz "I'm Yours" (Radio Edit) is only mp3 quality (lossy) on the TM Century & Promo Only discs. Does anyone know if the source is also lossy on NOW 30 or the promo CD singles? Also, has anyone ever come across the 3:19 "pop mix" that Pat describes the database? I've only seen CD singles with the 3:32 radio edit. (And for that matter, is the "pop mix" also of lower (mp3) quality, or is it WAV?

Since posting this several years ago, I purchased two different promo CD singles for "I'm Yours." I had this one already ripped to my hard drive, and I can confirm it is lossless (yay!):

PRCD 512211
1. Pop Mix (listed & actual 3:19)
2. Radio Edit (listed & actual 3:32)

I also have this promo CD, but I didn't check to see if the source is lossless or not:

PRCD 447932
1. Radio Edit (listed 3:32)
2. Album Version (listed 4:03)

I just got a chance to A-B the radio edit (which was what I was familiar with) and the pop mix. Wow, I like the pop mix more - it adds more instrumentation to what's on the radio edit, and the drums kick in a lot sooner. According to the TM Century site, it seems the pop mix was released about 3 months after the radio edit. I imagine the song had already taken off (if not a full fledged hit) by the time the pop mix was even serviced to radio. So does anyone recall which version was actually played on radio (more popular)?
