Pat, FYI, your database entry incorrectly shows the title as "I'm Living In Shame". My commercial 45, which is mono, and confirmed as Motown 1139, has a listed time of (2:57), but an actual time of (3:05).

Since the vast majority of CD appearances for Diana Ross and the Supremes' "I'm Livin' in Shame" are in stereo and run 2:55-2:58, I'm curious to know if the LP length is shorter than the 45. Does anyone have the Supremes' parent vinyl LP Let the Sunshine In from 1969 on Motown who can relay the song's run time for us?

Jim, I just pulled out my 45 of "I'm Living In Shame" and guess what, the title on my 45 really is "Im Living In Shame" and it runs (2:58) while your 45 is titled "I'm Livin' In Shame" and runs (3:05). Based on some liner notes included the Supremes cd "50th Anniversary" it looks like there were two different commercial pressings of this 45. Anyone else wish to chime in here? Oh yes my matrix number is C1-B2-B-D1-527M11 printed on the label but C1-B2-B-533M11 written in the runout grooves.

Pat, it's 100% that there are two different commercial 45s for Motown 1139.
Mine is definitely "Livin'", not "Living". My 45s deadwax is a machine stamped
"X4KM-2352-2    J". Then I had to flip the 45 upside down to read the
handwritten part: "C1-B2-B-01527M11-2". Looking at what's currently in
the db for the song, it seems all the shorter CD lengths are in stereo, the
longer CD lengths are in mono, and the Motown 1969 Singles Box choosing
to split the time difference, coming in at (3:01)!

I checked my copy last night and it agrees with Jim's. I wonder if this is an east coast/west coast difference.

my commercial 45 issued as motown 1139 states the run time
on the label as 2:57 but runs 3:04 and is titled 'i'm
livin' in shame'.......the run out groove etching is 'C1-
B2-B-01527M11-2'.....then machine stamped 'X4KM-2352-2
J'....

I recall that this was one of the incorrect versions on Complete
Motown Singles.
