My commercial 45, which is mono, has a listed time of (3:18), but an actual time of (3:27).

the version on 'chronicle: the twenty greatest hits' cd is
not the same as the vinyl 45...it's the same up til
approximately the 1:17 mark of the song, then there is an
edit or a bridge which doesn't match....can the part 2
version (3:27) be re-created from the full length version
running 5:47?

Ed is correct in that all 4 appearances of "I Am Somebody Part II" in the database are not the correct 45 version and I have changed the database entries to read "alternate take".

I was not familiar at all with this song, yet in answer
to Ed's question, the 45 can be recreated using the 5:47
version. However, it will run 4 seconds short because
the 5:47 version fades 4 seconds early.
If you fold the stereo 5:47 version to mono, make the 2
edits and paste the end of the 45 onto the folded file,
you can realistically recreate a 3:27 45 version.
