Charted as a live version (timing in at 3:15) in 1957. Have a dub so I know this is 100 percent accurate.
I am not interested in the studio version. Aware this came wayyyy after and was not the hit version from that year.
You would think with such a huge catalog and artists as Tony Bennett this would have made CD. I'm not sure it made any album of the time period, this seems to be a 45 only release.
If anyone can point me in the right direction much appreciated including international releases. Thanks!

Thanks mjb50. The All The Hits and More has less applause at the beginning (the 45 dub has about 3-5 seconds of more opening applause) but everything else appears to be the same.
I dont have 60 essential records.
The TB Swings has the correct 45 version that matches the dub. Thanks!

The version on The Columbia Singles, Vol. 4 (an
official digital-only Sony release from 2012) sounds to me
like the same recording as the 45 but with no audience
applause. So it appears that the 45 version is actually a
studio recording with audience sounds overdubbed.
Tony Bennett and Columbia A&R head Mitch Miller had an
agreement that Bennett would have significant input when it
came to his albums, but Miller would have complete control
over his singles. Bennett has stated that the only time he
performed songs like "From The Candy Store On The Corner To
The Chapel On The Hill" was at the recording session. Many
of his singles were never on an album and were never
performed live by Bennett. What sets "One For My Baby" apart
from many of these singles is that Bennett did often perform
the song live and he re-recorded the song several times.
