Hey guys! Was wondering if anyone can help me locate (and/or share) the correct single mix of Amy Grant's "Every Heartbeat"... thanks!

Like other Amy Grant hits from Heart In Motion, it seems that "Every Heartbeat" may have received a fair amount of airplay for both the LP version and the 7" Heart And Soul Mix.

My local top 40 played the 7" Heart And Soul Mix from a TM Century HitDisc, which is also the lead track from the promo CD single. I have a note, however, that KC101 played the LP version, which is track 4 on the promo CD. Does anyone else recall which version was most often heard in other markets?

Here are the promo CD details:

75021 7541 2
1. 7" Heart And Soul Mix (listed & actual 3:49)
2. 7" Body And Soul Mix (listed & actual 3:50)
3. 7" Piano Mix (listed & actual 3:30)
4. LP Version (listed & actual 3:31)
5. 12" Body & Soul Mix (listed & actual 5:21)

I believe the music video uses the 7" Body And Soul Mix, so it seems this mix also received a good amount of airplay.

I think i remember the "body and soul" mix being played on NY radio
because i remember the extended bridge and the "body & soul" mix is
the only one that has that. However, i've come to realize that memories
are notorious tricksters!!

Given that the video uses the Body & Soul Mix, it's highly possible several radio stations followed suit and also chose that mix.

I remember the video using a variation of the "piano mix"...

Yes it is. I don't know why i thought they used the stripped-down
version for the video...

The video is indeed the Body and Soul Mix, although my local CHR played the Heart and Soul Mix.   They are somewhat similar, although the Heart and Soul Mix is the first cut on the promo CD.

I am most familiar with the Heart and Soul Mix and, I
believe, that's what received the most play in my area.

WYXR(Star 104.5) in Philly played the Heart And Soul mix. I'm also positive the
a video with the same mix was also made, as I saw it VH1 Classic.

In L.A., I always heard the 7" Heart And Soul Mix on the radio - all stations - both pop and AC formats. I much prefer it to the LP mix but that could be because I heard the single mix first. There is something nice about the loud horns on the album mix, but A&M probably thought they weren't current for pop radio then.
