I'm pretty sure that's exactly what I said. Sorry if I wasn't clear enough.

Correct. I credited you several posts back, so thanks for bringing it to our attention!

I just spent the evening comparing the LP, a fresh rip of the 45 (53220) and promo CD (CD45-17476) and also checked the one video on Youtube that claims to be the 45. And from what I hear the 45 & Pro CD are the same. They both cut after the word high/height. When I put them side by side in Audition, except for a slight speed difference, they stayed in sync.

The plot thickens… Can you check the deadwax of your 45 and post the
matrix number? I’ll check for the 45 at storage to see what’s on my copy.
The dub I have on my hard drive is courtesy of Chuck, so maybe he can also
post his matrix info.

I also saw the video of the 45 playing on YouTube, and that edit does not
match the dub I have.

Quickly glancing at Discogs, there are some 45s with label matrix
MC24479E and some that have MC24640E.

It looks like we have two 45 versions. The one with the higher matrix number of 24640 was likely issued second, and that's what appears on the promo CD single.

Would that mean the release with the higher matrix is the
hit version?
