The actual commercial 45 run time of Spandau Ballet's "Gold" runs 3:53. (Timing information once again comes to us from abagon. The printed record label time is 3:54.) I only post this because database CD appearances of the song containing the "45 version" comment run 3:47-3:54.

I recently picked up a CD to compliment my short collection of Cema Special Markets discs. This series is called "Rock Of The 80's" which has collage images of women's faces on the covers of
each issue. This one, Volume 6 (S21-18610) has the song "Gold" as the last of 10 tracks. I can't say for sure as of yet, but this may be that 45 version as well. It times out at 3:53 and
doesn't sound like any version I am familiar with. The instrumentation also sounds like it's worked differently from other versions I am familiar with.

I have a few 12" versions and other versions that appear on V/A collections, but they don't sound like this one. It was nice to find this one as I like the others a lot too.
