My commercial 45, which is mono and confirmed as MGM 13868, has a listed time of (4:21) and an actual time of (4:22). I only post this info because there is currently a database notation stating that "commercial copies were all (4:14)." My deadwax info is not handy at the moment, but I can provide it later if requested, Pat.

Bumping this thread up. Are all the 45 versions in the database simply the single version faded seven seconds early?

That is correct -- an early fade of the single.

So does that mean there aren't any
original 45s that run 4:14?

Since I only see stereo issues on CD, I suspect it's on CD a re-creation and they didn't match it right. The mono 45 is
also different as they added a ton of compression to the song.
