Just wanted to point out in assembling 2012 radio never played the slow version of the album or the album edit, but chose the Mike D Rhythmic Remix or its edit instead.
I am not aware it ever made a CD compilation but it should have. It is one of the main reasons it was #1 for so long.

I didn't join Promo Only until December of 2018, but they
did service the DJ Mike D remix in 2012 on Express Audio

The local CHR in Dallas station played their own edit of the album version. Their edit inserted the chorus between the first and second verse. The Hot AC played the Mike D Remix.

Maybe not where you live, but both Top 40/Hot AC
stations I do engineering for played the album
version. ISTR 92 Moose in Maine playing it too.
I wasn't even aware of a remix until this thread.
I will admit to being a bit surprised as to how big a
hit this song was given the subject matter. Really
catchy song though...

There's a guy who worked in Erie PA that's been the
operations manager at 92 Moose for the last couple of
years. His air name/DJ name is Cooper Fox.

I know of him, may have met him at an NHAB function. He
spent several years at WMWV in N. Conway, N.H. I think
he may have worked in Portland too.

Some AC stations ran a home-made edit that removed the word "screwed", in "Somebody That I Used To Know" which was easy enough
to make with all the instrumental material available.

I am honestly surprised the album and probably its edit got any airplay. I take it these stations were mostly slow A/C which explains it. Not only very catchy, the number of remixes exploded sending it up into the top 10 and then to #1. Of the hits of the 2010's it stands as one of the most successful one-hit wonders of the decade (his follow up did chart position #92 if i recall and then he did a disappearing act completely for the last 7 years)and worthy of inclusion.
